North Chelmsford Churches Worshipping Together

Thursday 21st May was Ascension Day, the day when Christians focus on Jesus’ return to his Father in what the Bible describes as his ‘ascension’ into heaven. Churches generally hold Ascension Day services and, once again, this year we had to find new ways to do this while we are in lockdown.

Churches from across the north of Chelmsford have joined together in a “Mission and Ministry Partnership”. A dozen churches joined together on YouTube in a joint service to mark Ascension Day. St Augustine’s was among them and working in partnership with other churches, across denominations, is an important feature of our church.

You can find the service on YouTube here.
