Worship

altar-optWorship is at the heart of St Augustine’s. Wherever we are on our personal journey, Sunday worship is an opportunity to set time aside for God, to worship him, to pray to him, to hear his word in scripture and in preaching and to do so with other members of our church family.

Our services are at 10.45am each Sunday.  We use Anglican and Methodist forms of worship and we also like to use other worship resources including Celtic liturgies.  At the moment, we don’t have a vicar in the parish and our services will be led by Church of England and Methodist ministers, by our ‘Reader’, Simon Carpenter and by members of the church community.
