Having your Banns read at St Augustine of Canterbury Church

If you are getting married in a different parish , you will need your Banns to be read at your local church. Banns have to be read on 3 consecutive Sundays no more than 3 months before your wedding day. You will then need to collect a Banns certificate to prove that your Banns have been read. The current fee for this is £46

Couples are encouraged to come to our 10:45am service on Sunday s to hear their banns being read especially the last Sunday as the certificate to prove that the banns have been read will be available after the service.
